Angela Peeters, Founder/CEO

Angela began her company with a big vision and a big heart. She is a two-time surrogate, and a Mom of her own four children and two step children. Her life partner and her are deeply committed to family and are now becoming foster parents. Angela is embarking on her third journey as a surrogate and spends her work days taking care of her surrogates, and Intended Parents, and connecting with new dynamic women who align with the values of her program. After almost four years in business, Angela has established a successful program and is now thinking creatively into how she can add even more value to what is offered at CSC.

Angela has found joy and authentic connection through public speaking, and networking with other moms. Being a surrogate is a huge commitment and one that Angela speaks about openly. She protects the integrity of the program by doing her due diligence with everyone who applies. While she wants to help create as many families as possible, she’s not willing to compromise the foundation of CSC or her ethics to do so.

But who is she? What drives Angela to get up every morning, juggle her family needs, write a weekly blog, balance a busy work schedule that can change at any moment, and still cultivate a deep sense of self and personal growth? Once she reaches a goal, she’s on to the next creative wave. How does she stay high energy, while staying in a calm and centred place of patience and empathy?

Christine Villeneuve, Operations Manager

Christine Villeneuve, Operations Manager

I am a single mother to four beautiful children with vibrant personalities – Cassidy, Colby, Owen and Mallory. They are my world, and it’s because of them that I decided to become a surrogate mother. I have helped create 2 families thus far, carrying twins born in July 2015 and a singleton born in August 2017. I am currently pregnant with a singleton on my 3rd journey. I have enjoyed working as a qualified occasional teacher for 10 years and am very excited to be a part of Angela’s team here at Canadian Surrogacy Community. I look forward to putting my experiences and passion for surrogacy to work in the coming years and meeting so many new and wonderful people along the way.

I grew up in Timmins, a small city in Northern Ontario and lived there nearly my whole life. I completed my post-secondary education in North Bay Ontario. I received my diploma in Television and Video Production and then moved onto University where I received my Bachelor of Arts immediately followed by my Bachelor of Education. I then moved back to Timmins raise my family and work in the schools where I grew up. In July 2018, I made the bold decision to move my family to Exeter On, to pursue my passion of working in surrogacy with Angela here at CSC.

After the birth of my first daughter, Cassidy in 2002, I knew I wanted to become a surrogate mother. Fast forward 10 years and 3 more bio-children, I started on my journey to help create families. The road to surrogacy is not always easy, and mine proved to be challenging but I persevered and gave birth to perfect twin boys in July of 2015. I then moved onto my second journey in which I gave birth to a tiny, but healthy baby girl in August 2017. My third journey had a few initial bumps, but we were successful with the first transfer and I am due in October 2019 for my amazing IP’s. I have remained close with each of these families and am so happy that they now consider me to be part of their chosen family.

My whole life I have always been able to connect with people, it is something that I pride myself on. This has proven a benefit as I have grown into the woman, mother, surrogate and friend that I am today. I am excited to continue this exciting phase of my life with enthusiasm and anticipation for all that will come my way. I know that I will be an asset in many aspects of this community that Angela has so passionately begun.

Brianna Darbel
West Coast Support CD (DONA), CBE, Child Birth Educator

I met Angela in 2016, before CSC was up and running, before the birth of her last surrobabe. She was the first contact I made while looking at different surrogacy agencies. The first time we chatted a relationship developed. I was sold. She was down to earth, genuine and completely transparent. I dig that. A few years had past and I decided I was ready to begin my first surrogacy journey. I contacted Angela, and our friendship blossomed.

I have witnessed her business flourish. She is a very proud business owner, who has built CSC as a one woman team. I am beyond excited and honoured that she has asked me to be part of her team.

Brianna Darbel, CSC surrogate

Brianna was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB and now lives just a short drive away in Oakbank. She enjoys the small town life with her husband, three young children, and two big dogs. Brianna became a surrogate when her sister thought she might need Brianna’s help – in the end her sister was able to successfully carry a child on her own, but Brianna was still invested in being a surrogate for someone else!

Brianna has been a DONA certified birth doula for six years, and recently took her Lamaze Child Birth Educator training. She is passionate about all things birth and baby, and now all things Surrogacy as well!
