We have seen the most success when an IP is a motivated and proactive individual who:

• is open to guidance and coaching throughout the surrogacy process
• is willing to actively engage on social media to share their story and connect with potential surrogates
• recognizes our agency as professionals in the field and values our expertise
• is committed to giving back to the community by attending IP meetups, participating in our online chat groups, and offering their expertise back to the community (upon match looks to help other IPs in their search)
• is an effective communicator who can clearly articulate their needs and expectations
• is willing to go above and beyond to find a match that meets their needs
• has done their research on our agency and is familiar with our social media channels, blog content, and online presence
• is seeking a small, intimate community experience and is not looking to be just another number in a large agency
• has tried to find a surrogate on their own through social media or other channels, but is now seeking a more personalized and effective approach
• recognizes the value of our social media program, which provides a comprehensive marketing strategy to find a surrogate, and is excited to utilize every available channel to achieve their goal
• is proactive and motivated in their search, rather than simply waiting for a match to happen.
• is not from the USA – we don’t take IPs from the USA.

As you may already know, surrogacy in Canada must be altruistic and therefore there is no guarantee of ever matching with a surrogate (in our program, or any other Canadian program). The surrogacy process can be complex and unpredictable, and there are many factors that can affect the outcome. We want to be upfront and transparent about this, and we encourage you to have realistic expectations. We do however, have an excellent track record, with many of our IPs matching in under 6 months!

The cost of Canadian surrogacy for Canadian IPs is between $59,500 – $85,000. For international IPs, there are additional costs such as travel to visit the surrogate during pregnancy and staying for ~ 2 months in Canada (one month before, one month after birth).
