Angela has always believed in empowering women to reach their full potential. She began her career as a journalist, following her passion for writing. Then she landed an unexpected job teaching English as a
Second Language for the local school board. Her love for teaching children began her path of mindfulness and growth. When she got pregnant with her first daughter, she decided to spend the next six years as a stay-at-home mother, raising her four, beautiful children (all born in 3 years). During her
time home with her kids, she studied for her BA in both English and Psychology. She became a support for twin moms, a breastfeeding advocate, and then a surrogate mother for a gay couple – twice. Her journey helping others has been a unique adventure which led her to create her company, called Canadian Surrogacy Community (surrogacycommunity.ca). She now concentrates her time to help couples through their struggles with infertility, and LGBTQ members looking to build their families through surrogacy.
Angela lives in a small community near Lake Huron, in Exeter, Ontario. She often describes her household as organized Chaos and writes a blog all about the inner worth of women and mindful parenting. She is preparing to launch her new blog, “Musings of Organized Chaos” at the end of June. She loves to speak to other women about inner strength and the power of helping others. Angela is a conscious parent to her high-spirited children and with that comes challenges, but she is enamored with the creativity and beauty of these miracles every day. Her intuitive nature and her strong empathy for others, is what essentially drove Angela to build her company from the ground up with no business training or education. She is a woman connected deeply with the desire to help others and it encourages her to keep expanding on her services. She continues to bring awareness to issues close to her heart in her writing and her speaking.
