“I began as a journalist… Isn’t it so funny where life takes us? All I wanted to do was bury my face in a book and write poetry. Our passions nurture us. I still foster my writing today through my blog, but I’ve picked up so many passions since. I don’t think you can really have too many things you love, do you?”

Angela has always believed in empowering women to reach their full potential. She began her career as a journalist, following her passion for writing. Then she landed an unexpected job teaching English as a Second Language for the local school board. Her love for teaching children began her path of mindfulness and growth. When she got pregnant with her first daughter, she decided to spend the next six years as a stay-at-home mother, raising her four beautiful children (all born in 3 years).

Madelyn, (twins) Emily & Carter, and her littlest monkey Cole are all unique balls of energy that bring Angela gratitude daily. During her time home with her kids, she studied for her BA in both English and Psychology. She became a support for twin moms, a breastfeeding advocate, and then a surrogate mother for a gay couple – three times. Her journey helping others has been a unique adventure which led her to create her company, called Canadian Surrogacy Community. She now concentrates her time to help couples through their struggles with infertility, and LGBTQ members looking to build their families through surrogacy.

Angela and her family live in a small community near Lake Huron, in Exeter, Ontario. She often describes her household as organized Chaos and blogs all about the inner worth of women and mindful parenting. Angela speaks about inner strength and the power of serving others in a life of gratitude. She loves to document conversations and laughable moments with her children, but isn’t afraid to talk about the tough days that bring her to tears. She isn’t afraid to question societal norms and be her authentic self. She loves to engage the minds of readers in thoughtful new ways of looking at the world and is a strong advocate for women’s health issues – especially related to fertility.

Angela is a conscious parent to her high-spirited children with that comes challenges, but she is enamoured with the creativity and beauty of these miracles every day. Her intuitive nature and her strong empathy for others, is what essentially drove Angela to build her surrogacy company from the ground up with no business training. She is a woman connected deeply with the desire to help others and it encourages her to keep expanding on her services. She launched Evolution Eggs in 2021 to bring egg donation to her progams. She now works with young women all over Canada to educate and promote preservation and donation. Through this business grew a deeper interest in Women’s Health and she is now growing her knowledge base by taking a Board Certification in Women’s Health Coaching. She is looking forward to helping more women in the future through her coaching initiative.

“It’s important to always strive for excellence in all areas of life. It isn’t just about a successful career. Who are you as a person? Do you strive for excellence as a parent, a friend, a friendly neighbour? Excellence doesn’t always look the same every day. That’s ok. But if it’s the best you’ve got that day and you put it all on the table, people will come to recognize you as a person who gives it your all – 100% of the time. That’s who I strive to be.”
