How We’re Different

Angela, our Founder and Director, is a three-time gestational surrogate from Exeter, Ontario, who has proudly helped bring three healthy baby boys into the world. With ten years of experience in the Canadian surrogacy community, Angela has served as a surrogacy support and intake coordinator with another agency and has built a trusted network of professionals, surrogates, and intended parents across the country.

Angela has completed university-level courses in psychology and recently earned her Women’s Health Coaching Certification, allowing her to provide guidance that blends professional knowledge with compassionate, individualized support. She has raised four kids into budding teenagers, and welcomes the opportunity to help other families experience the joy she has embraced as a mother.

At Canadian Surrogacy Community, Angela and her team offer a uniquely personal perspective on surrogacy—one grounded in unity, trust, and integrity. We believe surrogates and intended parents form a bond unlike any other, and that open communication, respect, and empathy are essential at every stage.

Having completed her most recent surrogacy journey in September 2020, Angela understands both the emotional highs and challenges of the process. Her combination of ten years of lived experience, coaching expertise, and parenting insight ensures that every family who works with Canadian Surrogacy Community receives thoughtful, informed, and heart-centered support from start to finish.

A Different and Unique Approach

At Canadian Surrogacy Community, we take a human-centered approach that prioritizes connection, trust, and collaboration. Unlike traditional agencies, we bring surrogates, egg donors, and intended parents together—never divided—through support groups, events, and celebrations throughout the surrogacy journey. Our goal is to remove the barriers and negativity that can sometimes come with the word “agency” and focus on building relationships grounded in respect and unity.

Angela, our Founder and Director, spends her days guiding and supporting everyone in our programs, from managing each step of the process to connecting clients with trusted resources. With ten years of experience, she protects the integrity of our programs through a thorough pre-screening process that addresses medical, psychological, and ethical standards. While we are committed to helping as many families as possible, we never compromise the foundation of our work or our values.

After establishing a decade of successful programs, Angela expanded CSC to include the egg donor division, Evolution Eggs. She is not just CEO—she is hands-on with every case, ensuring personalized attention and support. Her team remains intentionally small so every surrogate, donor, and intended parent receives dedicated guidance and builds a meaningful relationship with her throughout the journey.

An advocate of change

Angela is a strong advocate for legislative change within Canadian law and is striving to consult with the current Liberal government to de-criminalize surrogacy and find a way to provide a safe, regulated way to commercialize surrogacy in Canada, so that neither Surrogate or Intended Parent are being taken advantage of. She has been vocal in the media since her surrogate journeys began and has a strategy and plan to present change and help implement what that change may look like for the future of Canadian surrogacy.

Fostering community

Our goal in establishing Canadian Surrogacy Community is the development and fostering of a community around surrogacy, creating harmony amongst surrogates with their Intended Parents, building relationships and providing means and ways to grow and develop those relationships.

The ongoing one-on-one guidance and support throughout your journey is critical, as well as providing true support through a surrogate support system, and meaningful sessions scheduled at relevant milestones throughout the surrogacy journey.
